Shipping & Fulfillment Policy — Model Scenery World

Effective Date: July 26, 2021


1. Domestic Shipping (United States)

Standard & Priority Shipping

  • Standard Shipping: $4.85 (flat rate)

  • Priority Mail: $9.85 (flat rate)

  • Orders ship via United States Postal Service (USPS).

  • Orders over $50 (U.S.) qualify for Free Standard Shipping — select this option at checkout.

USPS Service Details:

  • Final Delivery: U.S. Post Office

  • Package Sizes: All small sizes, some larger sizes

  • Service Area: 50 states, AA, AE, AP, Guam, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands

  • PO Boxes: Allowed

Please Note:

  • We are not responsible for delivery delays caused by carriers, weather, natural disasters, system outages, or other events beyond our control.

  • If your address requires a specific delivery method, choose it at checkout. If a package is returned undeliverable and must be resent, additional shipping charges will apply.

  • We do not ship with “signature required.”


2. International Shipping

We ship worldwide, with the following requirements:

  • All international shipments must include tracking and insurance.

  • Shipping rates are displayed at checkout after entering your shipping address.

  • Customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, tariffs, and postal fees. These are not collected by Model Scenery World and must be paid directly to your local carrier or customs office.

  • We cannot declare lower values or mark items as “gifts” to reduce customs fees, as this violates international law.

  • Delivery times vary by location. Economy methods can take up to 30 days (rarely up to 90 days). We recommend USPS Priority International or UPS International for faster, insured delivery (typically 1–2 weeks).


3. Stock & Order Processing

  • We stock many items but also 3D print models to order.

  • Most orders ship within 1–3 business days (many ship same day).

  • Large or complex models may take additional time to build.

  • During holiday peak (Nov 15–Jan 15), processing times may be longer.


4. Order & Payment

  • Orders are processed in the order received.

  • Payment is charged at the time of order.

  • We accept PayPal and major credit cards (international orders: PayPal or credit card only).


5. Returns & Cancellations

Refer to our Refund Policy for full details.

  • Orders already processed may not be canceled.

  • We may cancel orders for suspected fraud, policy abuse, or harassment of staff.


6. Lost, Damaged, or Missing Items

Damaged Packages:

  • Contact us immediately. Keep all packaging and take photos of the damage.

  • We will file a claim with the carrier and work to resolve the issue.

Missing Parts:

  • Report missing or defective parts immediately so we can arrange replacements.

Missing Items in Shipment:

  • Contact us within 21 days of delivery to resolve missing items.


7. Sales Tax

We collect sales tax for all orders shipping to U.S. addresses, as required by law. Local and district taxes may also apply.
